Bottled at 90 proof, this hand-selected, small batch bourbon is aged for a minimum of 10 years in #4 "Alligator" charred American Oak barrels resulting in rich caramel and vanilla flavors and uniquely smooth finish. These bold notes make our 10 Year perfect for classic cocktails, like the Boulevardier (a Negroni riff with bourbon!)

The Russell’s Reserve legacy was born in 2000 to mark a relationship between father and son, Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame Master Distillers Jimmy & Eddie Russell. An indelible bond forged in bourbon, with more than 101 years of combined whiskey mastery between them. Family is in Russell’s Reserve’s DNA. It’s crafted by a family, it’s named after a family, and we’re inviting everyone to become a part of it.

The nose tickles with caramel, spice, vanilla, and earthiness, with just a hint of balsamic vinegar. Warming. Coated with spices, ranging from cinnamon to allspice and from coffee to nutmeg. Eventually, patented caramel and vanilla, with a fun hint of cardamom. The long, enjoyable finish is earthy, but there's an unwanted bitterness at the end that cannot be denied. If not for the bitter end, this would rate much higher.
