An amber rum considered among traditional drinkers ideal for preparing classic rum cocktails. With a robust and integral flavor, it is famous for being the rum used in the creation of the very first Piña Colada.
AGING
A blend of rums aged from 1½ to 5 years in American white oak barrels.
PROOF
80 proof, 40% ALC/VOL.
TASTING NOTES
Slightly woody, caramel and vanilla nose. Gentle tannins, vanilla and molasses. Velvety texture.
PAIRING SUGGESTIONS
Classic and frozen cocktails, mix with cola to bring out the vanilla, wood and caramel notes. Pair with Latin, Asian and spicy foods.
