This limited-edition whiskey has a mashbill of 50% malted barley / 50% unmalted barley, is distilled in Dublin, and fully matured in Chinkapin American White Oak. Native to Eastern and Central North America, Chinkapin oak imparts a truly distinctive taste experience.

An innovative take on the famous Dublin style of whiskey, Single Pot Still Whiskey, this release demonstrates Teeling’s dedication to pushing the boundaries of Irish Whiskey flavour through unique cask maturation.

Master distiller Alex Chasko selected wide-grain virgin Chinkapin American white oak casks to fully mature this batch of distinctive Dublin-made single pot still whiskey, with each bottle sold helping to replant native trees in County Wicklow. The fresh oak has deeply etched its character on the spirit with savory and spicy aromas of roasted sweet chestnut, marron glacé, licorice, pecan, and treacle, followed by a deliciously yielding palate of black fruits, forest honey, clove, cola, and Brazil nut. —Jonny McCormick
